This is the first in a series of power points designed to improve skills in inferring and writing. It uses pictures of our dog to make the task more interesting for both students and teachers. As a speech-language pathologist, I find that getting my students to infer and generate their own ideas is very challenging. However, when they are positively engaged, the task becomes easier.
