This is a PROMETHEAN BOARD flip chart for C-V-C Spelling words. The activity consists of 23 words along with REAL photos which is extremely helpful for all students, especially students with special needs. It is set up so the image is present along with the letters required but mixed up. Students can drag the correct letter to the correct box (container) to spell the word. This flipchart is one I use to introduce the concept/idea of black history month to my students. It begins with a song about Martin Luther King, then has picture examples of the words past and present to help my kids understand what we mean when we say the "past". Then there are pages of examples of black athletes, musicians, actors, etc. At the end there is a video "black history alphabet" I hope this simplified way of introducing black history helps your class as much as it helped mine.
