This is an online scavenger hunt using credible websites for students to find information on how much it costs to own a pet. They need to find information about what it means to microchip, neuter and adopt a pet. They also have to think critically about the benefits of buying from a breeder vs. adopting from the local shelter. This was done in conjunction with a Community Based Instructional Outing to the local pet shelter and was designed for a secondary level moderate-severe special education

In this assignment, students are tasked with comparing prices of everyday grocery items at three different stores. They will have to calculate unit price to determine this. Memorial Day and Military WebQuest Distance Learning
This WebQuest can be assigned as a multiple day project for students on Google Classroom (or any school platform). There are four parts to the quest, each of which takes about 30-45 minutes to complete. It is on a Google Doc, so it can easily be edited/differentiated for your level of student. This was made to be used around Memorial Day, but can be used anytime to learn more about the branches of military (you can remove part one about Memorial Day to make it fit your units/lessons).
