Send these slips home in a paper bag of sorts (I send them home at Open House), and have students bring them back to share. Each day throughout the first week or two of school, I choose 3-5 students to bring their bags up as the teacher takes items out to share. Students guess whose bag it is out of the 3 of 5 students up front. A very fun get-to-know-you that adults can participate in as well!
