This resource provides notes on authors from English literature over the last 300+ years, including the Enlightenment, Romantic, Realist, Transcendental, Victorian, Existentialist, Naturalist, and Modernist eras, as well as the Bloomsbury Group and the Beat Generation. Notes are helpful for students to preview many historical figures and make a choice on who they will write a biography about. This is a file consisting of 89 Animals of the Amazon Rainforest Nomenclature Cards.
These are different in that they have a fourth card for each animal. The fourth card is a "What Am I?" card in order to impart a little knowledge on each animal. There are symbols on the bottom of each master card and the "What am I?" card so you an easily check if you were correct.

I Bet You Know the Alphas (Comparing print, cursive, capitals)
This is an original story that could be used in a Montessori elementary classroom. It would be used to introduce or compare lower case letters in print, in cursive, capital letters, and phonograms.
