Kids use science tools, math equations, and prior knowledge to see how math can help real people come to conclusions. This video is very hands on. It requires a water measuring device, a dropper, access to computers and headphones, and an open mind. This took one 90 minute period for my algebra 1 students to complete. Students watch a video of water dropping and use that to ultimately determine how much water is wasted over time.
