** This is a great Fall math activity using non-standard units of measurement. This is our I Can statement: “I Can use non-standard units of measurement to find out how tall I am.”

Measurement Tools Picture Sort
This picture sort is a great activity when students are finished with their work early, to do on the board as a class, or copy and paste the pictures into a Smartboard activity. This works great for remediation or for introducing the topic. It also works well for students who may not test well. Have them do the activity in front of you and use the results as a test grade. This also works great for a math center activity.

Our Class Pumpkin record sheet
This is a great form for students to use to record their observations about your class pumpkin. There are 2 sheets per page. The first sheet includes a place to record the weight of the pumpkin.
