Do / What Writing Chart Organizer
I love using "Do/What" charts in my classroom when introducing a new writing prompt to my students. It is a great way to help students identify and understand the different vocabulary used in various writing prompts. Do/What charts can easily be implemented in any classroom at any grade level. Field Trip Name Tags
There are 6 cute bus name tags on a sheet. There are also spaces for the school's name and phone number. Print them, cut them out and attach them with a pin or masking tape.

Writing Editor's Checklist
Includes two girls and two boys in full page color posters (editable or already completed).
Also included are coordinating half sheet, black line, editable or already completed versions of the posters. Students can self-check their writing and staple a copy to a finished piece.
I find it helpful to add one thing at a time to an editing checklist. This gives students the opportunity to get really good at one thing before adding another “required” skill. It also allows for differentiation.
