The document includes two pages: one for a pre-assessment, and one for the final assessment. It is in document form so you can edit and change as you see fit. I use this with my drama students at the beginning of the course and the end in order to show student growth. Once you become familiar

This is a complete set of questions (88) to provoke and test students' learning when studying the film School of Rock. I have divided the film into six parts/episodes. Each part is approx. 15 - 20 minutes long. I usually read the questions first (to help students focus), show a section of the movie, and then ask students to write answers to the questions. Some of the questions are basic fact-finding. Others require students to understand why characters act in a particular way, or say specific t

I split my class into two groups and both groups practice. When we perform we discuss what things we liked about each group. I use this to introduce the small group reader's theaters I have them do the rest of the year. I have also come back to the script at the end of the year to perform in front of

It is a twist on the Princess and the Pea. When performing these, my students compare and contrast the original story and then these two using a Venn Diagram.
