So fun to use with International Summer School students! Great language development, discussions about humour, fairy tales.

Description

My name is Melanie Whitesides but my store name is Wonbyone. One of the things I am passionate about is Reader's Theater. It is a fun way for my students to improve on their fluency. In a world where reading is pushed so hard on students that many are losing their love of reading it is IMPORTANT to give them opportunities to read that are fun. Reader's Theater does this. In this package I have placed 6 Reader's Theater. They are: CinderFELLA, The Emperor's New Nose, The Not-so-Charming Prince, The Three Billy Goats Tough, The Ugly Duck King, and The Queen of Hearts in Court.

They are all written for groups of 3 to 4 people. My scripts are in black and white with only the occasional color picture on front so they are easier and cheaper to photo copy. The problem with many other reader's theaters is that students spend a lot of time waiting for their part. When you have a small group they get more practice in and less off task behaviors take place.

You can buy these individual Reader's Theaters on my site for $2.50 a piece OR you can buy all 6 here for $10. This will save you $5. A sort of buy 4 get 2 free deal. *IF you teach 4th grade, some of the scripts will need to be used in your higher group.

If you and your students enjoy these scripts, look for more at my store!
