Hamilton: The Musical + Comprehensive Packet + Auto Graded Movie Guide + Slides
I spent a week creating, sampling, testing, then revising this curriculum in my 7th-12th grade public school classrooms. As a 13-year veteran California educator I wanted to make sure this was a quality and actually useful resource in the real-world-classroom. It's tailored to highly engage Generation Z students. Composer Research Assignment
Students will research a classical composer, completing a two to three-page essay and an 8 to 10-minute in-class presentation. A list of potential composers is included, as well as a rubric. This can be adapted to any genre. The directions specify MLA formatting for a bibliography, but you can use whatever format your school uses.
