SMARTBoard Farkle Interactive Game
Your students will love playing Farkle on the SMARTBoard. I have given you two options for scoring and game play.
*Either use the interactive website for rolling the dice or use the interactive dice embedded within the Notebook. If using the embedded dice, have your students pick a pen from the tray and circle the dice being held. Daily Oral Language Daily Fix It Interactive SMARTBoard
This SmartNotebook interactive lesson allows you to use your own daily oral language or daily fix it sentences. Friendship Salad SMARTBoard Lesson
SMARTBoard lesson walking you through the process of making a friendship salad, which is a fabulous idea by Mrs. Durning at http://teacherweb.com/NY/MTA/durning

Back to School Smartboard Dice Activity
Use this Notebook file on your Smartboard on the first day of school to get to know your new students. The large die on the bottom is an interactive one. Students will come up to the Smartboard, roll the die (by tapping it), and then share something depending on what they rolled. They may be asked to share: their favorite book, television show, food, hobby, song, or something they did this summer. Have them roll more than once to learn more!

September lunch count and attendance owl theme
A fun and student initiated attendance and lunch count. Students move their class number to the appropriate selection of hot lunch or cold lunch. The remaining numbers that aren't moved will indicate who is absent (as long as they have not forgotten :)) The kids love to do it and it becomes a part of the morning routine.
