Maths Detectives Subtraction "Spot the mistakes" differentiated

There are two higher ability sheets, one middle and one lower. Each sheet contains a set of subtraction sums which the children must prove are either correct or incorrect using column subtraction. Some questions have been added instead and some have the smaller number first - HA chn should write in the "Prove it" box or verbalise this to the teacher to show deeper understanding. Children love the idea of being the teacher and marking someone's work - my kids certainly did.

This multiplication book I made for the end of the year when we were leaning about multiplication and arrays. I had the kids draw (like an array), add, and multiply each equation. When I made the books I copied the cover on construction paper. Then I copied the set of equations and cut them in 2 and then staple on the left hand side the construction paper cover and back. This cuts down on copies. I try to copy all of the covers for the different multiples on different colored construction paper.
