It is a great tool to assess student's fluency for addition, subtraction, or multiplication. You may hand out page and give them a number and they write it in the center of the donuts then they have to add it to all numbers and write the answer on the outside of the empty spaces in the donuts. As students master a number fact you may track it and keep going on to the next number and you may use it to track data and see the how they progress.
