Some of my second graders still struggle with coin recognition and the value of the coins. I print (and cut) this out on colored paper and tape it to their desktop as a helpful tool. You can put it in their math folder as a helper too! The more they look at it, the more they will remember! I also included our "Money Song" we sing on the bottom of the sheet. I write it on large poster paper and post it on the classroom wall.
