How Music Makes You Feel
This simple but effective speaking activity will have all your students participating. Throw together a playlist with lots of different music (classical, metal, pop, country, jazz, movie music, oldies) and play the first 30 seconds of the songs. Hands will fly to comment on how the song makes them feel. Beginners will use the sentence builder while more confident language learners will personalise their response.
