Lima Bean Observation Log

Who loves planting lima beans at this time of the year? Students really enjoy taking on the role of a scientist and recording their observations. This is an easy way to do this and is referred to as an "Observation Log." It is generic in nature and can be made numerous times. It provides a small space for your students to draw a picture and label the parts of their bean. Does that sound like fun? Be sure to download this freebie and check out others on my blog. I hope you enjoy having this. This

This is my Mat Women version of Mat Man. I use this to teach the students how to draw a girl and add all the body parts along with details. I print this 2 sided with a Mat Man version on the back. The students follow along with me as I sing the Mat Man song while adding the body parts on the left one. I change the words to Mat Women and use she instead of He. We talk about how we use he for a boy and she /her for a girl. The students color her triangle dress, add hair, ear rings, crown, and othe

This POWERPOINT gives SLPs the opportunity to teach and collect data on WHO and WHERE. We can't always go into a lesson taking data. We need to teach the concept first and give our students the opportunity to learn. The learning process is through scaffolding- 1 word visual, comprehension questions with a visual, then finally comprehension questions with out a visual. Do this all while having fun with Valentine's Day! This is for students that need to learn that WHO associates with a person
