If you're anything like me, you're frustrated by the sheer amount of vocabulary that you have to teach each and every week in order to meet the standards. I use this template in my Spanish interactive notebooks to get 20 vocabulary words per page. It's a simple product with dotted lines for cutting. This is a copy of the vocabulary list used with my level 1 French students while reading the novel Pauvre Anne, using this as a "personal dictionary". Each chapter has two extra rows that students write in their own unknown words. I provide students with unknown words for each chapter. As part of their assignments (homework or classwork) they must find two additional words per chapter. This is a simple Flipbook Organizer for interactive notebooks. Essentially, students fill in the title at the bottom of the card and write the information on the back of the card. Then, They tape them in their notebooks so that only the titles of the cards are showing. Then when they flip the card up, they see the information.
