This lesson is from the Literary Analysis unit. The lesson revisits the topic of setting, then moves into how the setting affect the characters of the text. Students and teacher are involved in close reading, peer discussion, and whole class share. Strategies used include: peer share, think aloud, questioning, and I Do, We Do, You Do!
