Combine fresh air, exercise, and math with this neighborhood graphing walk! You can take a walk as a class or this also works well for online learning, as students can do the graphing walk in their own neighborhoods. Before walking, students can make predictions about what neighborhood items they may see the most or least of. As they walk, students use colored pencils to color in a box above the items they see. When the walk is finished, they answer two questions about their data.
