This powerpoint slideshow was created by Amy Berry and her speech students for articulation practice for the forms of /r/. Each slide contains a riddle for a word that contains the /r/ sound in the initial, medial, or final position. The student should say an /r/ word that he/she thinks solves the riddle. This word doc contains multiple passages from famous pieces of literature. Dashes are placed throughout the passages, to remind the student to take a pause and breathe before continuing reading. Especially useful for stuttering and cluttering clients who are unintelligible. Maintaining phonation and over annunciation allows the student to be much more intelligible to a listener.
