The Elements of Dance
This is a simple one-page JPEG that you can enlarge and print for the classroom, or use as a handout or journal insert.
In my approach to dance and choreography, I think of four basic elements, with the acronym "BEST:" Body, Energy, Space, and Time. These are the What, How, Where, and When of dance!
This sheet lists the elements with some of their sub-elements and is useful both for creating and for analyzing dances.

Ballet History Graphic Organizer
By providing students with the history and foundations of ballet we can better understand how and why we move. Ballet is known to be a foundation of all other forms of dance making it extremely relevant and connected to all other dance forms. I use this organizer for students to keep track of each time period as I teach content about ballet history using Google Slides (in point form, diagrams or however they remember and note-take best).
