Slope Intercept Cheat Sheet
This half page cheat sheet can be used in a variety of ways. I used it as guided notes for slope-intercept review before an activity that required them to write y = mx + b equations from tables and graphs. Having students hold on an continually reference this guide has been helpful for my struggling students.You can fill it out with students together or you can have it already filled out and distributed to students. Linear Card Match Game
This matching card game can be used as a partner warm up activity to reinforce the Slope/Intercept Form of a Linear Function. There are 30 cards. 15 have graphs and 15 have descriptions of functions, tables, slope, and y and x intercepts. Just print out on card stock and hand out at the door or leave one on every other desk. Kids work together on each card to find the correct graph. The communication is key! Kids that are not sure of the "lingo" can get it from their peer!
