5 Paragraph Biography Outline w. Rubric - Easy, Guided Introduction to the Essay
This is a very easy, step by step outline for how to write a biography report. I have used this in my Grade 5 class, as well as Grade 7. The detailed process of how to write the report is so easy for students to follow. It is in the style of five separate paragraphs, with an introduction and conclusion - introducing students to the essay format (without them really knowing it :)).

This is a graphic organizer that can be used for writing a 5 paragraph essay or a research paper. The last 2 pages offer an organizer for the sources used for research and details on how the References page or Bibliography page should be organized. Students can take notes on the back of the page that lists the info needed from sources and they will have the source information ready to plug into a citation generator.
