History of President's Day Reading and Questions
Seven-paragraph reading on the history of Presidents meant for high school students. There are seven total questions after the reading. Five multiple-choice and two open-ended responses. There is an answer key for all questions at the end of the document. This is a perfect 40-minute activity for President's Day. Follow up with a discussion of the final two open-ended questions to extend the time of the activity.

Use these Coin Bubble Maps to review or assess students on identifying U.S. coins including, pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.
We learn about coins in February while we are talking about Presidents' Day. It is a great chance to tie in Math and Social Studies together.
I give students a bubble map each day, and they fill in their bubble map as we make a class anchor chart together.

President Lincoln Mystery Picture
