Poetry in Motion Choreography Project
This is an individual choreography project for upper level dance students. I think this would be a good project for a theater class too. This contains a slides presentation that gives the instructions for the assignment. We are on block scheduling and this takes us 3 days. One to find a poem, work on choreography, and then perform. You could also assign finding a poem as homework or if they didn't have time in class. My students really enjoy this project. There are two example links included as
