Touch It! Nouns for People Game
Touch It! Is a great game for foreign languages that is great for high energy students and lasts about 5-10 minutes. Students are placed in pairs of 2. Each pair recieves a touch it copy. The teacher says one of the words and students use their fingers (or pencils) to quickly touch the correct image. Spanish - English interpretation activity
This is a good activity i use at the beginning of class to get the students warmed up. I usually cut out the paragraphs and give them one each, they have the spanish and have to interpret/translate it into english. The idea is they listen carefully so they can continue the story and know when they are due to speak. Whilst this happens, i note down any errors they have made and then we go through a brief 'possible translation' of the same text in english. This is great for getting them thinking,
