Australian Issues: Oral Presentation Planning and Assessment Booklet
This is a booklet I created for a year 9 oral presentation assessment task. This booklet includes instructions, a list of topics to choose from, planning pages and a rubric. I have also included 'reliable source' links for studnets to use for their research. On the day of their presentation, students were required to submit this booklet along with a transcript of their presentation. Although this was used with my year 9, I could easily alter it slightly to make it suitable for years 7 and 8. Hop

We can use it for example with the present simple writing vertically (I, You, He, She, We,etc) and horizontally (play, sing, dance...) . The students will say the tense with the correct grammar to sink the ships. For example, HE PLAYS FOOTBALL. Furthermore, to add more excitement to the game, we could ask our students to write the sentences the make. This way, we would have to check if they are using the tenses properly.
