Anglo-Saxon Day
Anglo-Saxon day is a one-period long celebration that facilitates students' relationships with the Anglo-Saxon era, and through a fun, lively experience, enables them to really remember a lesson at the root of the time period: food and art were simplistic when people were fending for their lives--while developments in weaponry were sizable.

Mini project about creating a new horror trailer. Fully created booklet looking at various media devices and using the famous horror genre trailers to gauge ideas. Design a Wanted Poster Project
This project encourages students to write detailed descriptions using verbs, adjectives and nouns as appropriate. Students are to complete a Wanted poster including a Distinguishing Features Chart, Information Chart, Verbs, Adjectives and Nouns Chart, a detailed description of the criminal and their crimes. Students should be encouraged to word process their final draft of the description and research appropriate rewards suitable for the criminals crime.
