Ever wondered how to teach coding without a computer? It happened to me, so I created my own codes from scratch. You can break your students into teams and give them a set of codes to program the teacher or a group member through a maze. I used masking tape and created a maze throughout the lab. What is that smell? Testing students' sense of smell
Use this science activity for students to discover their sense of smell! Place a cotton ball into five different small tupperware containers. Choose four different strong smelling liquids, such as vinegar, lemon juice, vanilla, peppermint, etc, and pour a little bit onto each cotton ball. Number the containers and have students guess the smell using this worksheet. A great way to make their sense of smell come alive!
