Description
This is a 5 page activity that can be used as a test for students with disabilities in an inclusive science class. It covers the basics of the muscular system.
Students can make a booklet by coloring the cover when they need a break from the academic work.
Pages 2 is a chart of the three kinds of muscles. The chart explains what the muscles look like and what they do. Picture clues are included.
Page 3 asks questions about the chart. Students have to refer to the chart to find their answers.
Pages 4-5 are notes that students are to copy. These are simplified notes with picture clues that are modified for students with disabilities to understand.
This is modified to about a Kindergarten level but can be used in any science class. I used it for grade 7.
