Included with this download is one page for five classes of animals: bird, amphibian, mammal, reptile and fish. Each page prints four baseball cards with the class already in the corner. There is also a page for the backside of the card with a few basic questions about the animal. Each student picked an animal and then made a baseball card for them. Use this simple bubble map as a pre or post test. This great assessment is an alternative to traditional multiple choice tests. It helps assess what students know about the characteristics of mammals, reptiles, birds, fish, amphibians and insects. A word bank is provided to help stimulate ideas, but could easily be removed to make the test more challenging.

This is a model which can be cut colored and added to an interactive notebook. I made it for carbon but it could be used to illustrate any of the atoms from one to 10. I have recycled hole punch circles to be used as the proton neutrons and electrons.
