Classifying Quadrilateral Practice

Classifying quadrilaterals can be a tricky geometry concept! This extra practice is great for helping students perfect this skill. Have students highlight parallel lines, mark sides of equal length, and find the right angles to determine the classification for each shape!*The answer key is marked that trapezoids are quadrilaterals with only one set of parallel lines not at least one set of parallel lines. Depending on how your curriculum teaches this, more shapes on this worksheet may also be cl

FREE Geometry Quadrilateral Memory Freebie Game Grades 4-5

This freebie includes cards which can be used to play quadrilateral memory. I suggest having students complete this activity in groups of 3-4 people. Because of the hierarchy of quadrilaterals, cards can match more than one card, so the outcome of the game can vary and all cards might not be used. In my classroom we use the goal of the first person to make 4 matches wins or you can play until no more matches can be made. The student with the most matches wins.
