Most of my products use creative ways to help students with IEPs access the general education curriculum. My products are rigorous, but offer supports for various levels of need. I have my EdS in Educational Leadership and Policy and Special Education Administration, my Master's degree in Special Education, as well as an LBS1 and secondary ELA certification. I also have certifications in SEL for teachers and trauma-informed teaching, both areas being very important to me. I spent 8+ years in the classroom as an aid, sub and classroom teacher. Much of my experience was in therapeutic day schools for students with emotional and behavioral disturbances -- this means that my students were working on the same things as a public school but they need that extra push to get it done! While completing my principal and special education director internships, I became a mom and transitioned to content creation, curriculum development and professional development creation.
I prefer a hands-on approach that supports the research of brain based learning. I like to integrate technology in my lessons to enhance learning. I want my students to not only learn those critical skills necessary for educational success, but to also learn to think for themselves and feel inspired to constantly grow.

I have my Bachelor's degree in English, my Master's degree in Education with a focus on Special Education, and my Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Policy and Special Education Administration. I am a certified Special Education teacher, as well as a secondary English Language Arts teacher. I also have certificates in SEL for teachers and trauma-informed care.
Academia is very important to me and the majority of my resources are Common Core aligned to fit the needs of teachers -- but I usually include more than one template, with different levels of support, to meet the needs of all students. My resources are rigorous and challenging but the special education teacher in me always includes creative ways to support diverse learners!
