This is a Schoolwide Enrichment Unit for grades K-2.

There are pictures of famous artists' art that they have to drag and place under the correct heading. Then they need to explain why they feel it should go there. Some are a little tricky but, it's perfect for helping students understand what to look for in a work of art.

Elements of Art Introduction - SMART NOTEBOOK
SMART Board Notebook that takes students through the elements of art. Each element has an explanation, and a sample mini activity that should take students approx. 10-20 min each. This lesson is a great intro for middle school art courses or for Elementary level as well with more time and guidance.

Ah, Earth Day! This is an Earth Day sorting activity for the Smart Board™. It is suitable for primary grades (Pre-K, Kindergarten and First Grade, mostly). Sorting items into categories is a basic math skill. Students use the interactive whiteboard to sort Earth Day items into two labeled trash cans or recycling bins.A gentle “ping” sounds if they are correct. Incorrect items bounce back out. Character Traits and Motivation SMARTBoard file with Graphic Organizer
This is an introductory lesson on Character Analysis. An interactive graphic organizer included as well as a link to a printable organizer. A story is included for practice, but the organizer is designed to work with an character analysis. An enrichment activity is included with larger printable pieces from the graphic organizer that can be cut out and then attached to construction paper to create their character.
