Ah, Earth Day! This is an Earth Day sorting activity for the Smart Board™. It is suitable for primary grades (Pre-K, Kindergarten and First Grade, mostly). Sorting items into categories is a basic math skill. This is a Smart Notebook file created from 50 top photos. I used it to stimulate curiosity and wonder in the children. Some of the pictures are very thought provoking others are fun. This was always a quiet activity initially until shared time when the discussions often ran over time. Earth Day Choices Smart Notebook
