This speaking activity can be used at the beginning of a year as an icebreaker. The main topic is the New Year´s Resolutions. Allow your students some time to prepare their answers. There is a glossary as a second sheet. Encourage your students to set a time to accomplish their goals (e.g., three months) and they could keep this sheet and check it again at the end of the year to verify which goal became real. They could share their answers as a group or as a full class.
