Description
This 3-page file includes:
~A reading in which students get a chance to see Colombia's New Year's traditions in the grammatical context of the future tense. The narrator is a 16-year-old boy discussing all the changes in his family's life in the coming year, his plans for tonight including Colombian traditions for New Year's Eve as well as a list of his resolutions. Reading includes a full glossary of new vocabulary.
~A worksheet with six reading comprehension questions, and writing practice to get students using the future tense.
~Answer key.
Level: Spanish 3/4 (In future tense)
Activity idea: Have students underline all the future tense forms they find in the reading. Then have them write out their own resolutions in the future tense!
