Place Value Scavenger Hunt Activity - Free
This place value activity has students writing numbers in word and expanded form. They will use a QR reader to take them to a website to find the answer to a question such as the height of the Statue of Liberty. Students then write the answer on the recording sheet in the proper form. This activity can be used as a center or partner activity to review at the beginning of the year.
This is recommended for 3rd grade at the beginning of the year or 2nd grade at the end of the year.

Study jams is a great resources for students to use to be in charge of their own learning while using technology. I have created notes that go with the "Place Value" study jams video that students can use to follow along with the video on their website. At the end there are "Test Yourself" questions students can do for a mini assessment and check for understanding.
