Shine a Light for PeaceShine a Light for Peace was written as a processional or a concert piece for a young choir. My 90 voice children’s choir (ages 9-11) performed this on risers. Each child brought a flashlight from home. Then they made construction paper cutouts to fit over the flashlight, to make the flashlight beam look like a candle flame. They taped it onto their flashlight. Every two beats in the song, one child turned on their light. Ina darkened gym, the effect was wonderful!Our choir
