Factoring Sum and Difference of Cubes Graphic Organizer and Song
I have always struggled teaching this topic, and another teacher shared this song and it worked wonders on my students. I made this graphic organizer to tie everything together for them and it worked great.
The first page is what is given to the students and the 2nd page is your reference for what the song is saying. I usually have the students make a beat on the desk and they will remember the song, which will let them factor cubes!

This is a cut and tape colored musical "chain" activity used to practice graphing quadratic equations. This is how I introduce the seemingly impossible quadratic formula to my Algebra 1 students. Many former students have come to me over the years and this is one of the things they remembered most about my class.
