I found a list of commonly misspelled words that are often mistaken as being one word or two words. As part of my attempt to help students avoid looking foolish in their writing, I taught the list and created quizzes. While this might not be a specific skill associated with the ACT or other standardized tests, the ability to spell words others often misuse is an important skill.
