This Reader's Theater Script is easy to follow and is based off of Washington Irving's "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". This is written at a level that 4th, 5th, and 6th graders can enjoy. There are plenty of Tier 2 vocabulary terms to build a unit from. Words I chose to focus on for the week unit were region, reeling, hospitality, lanky, and cordially.
