Two-Step Equations Magic Square
The attached activity is a 5x5 magic square that requires students to solve two-step algebraic equations. When solved correctly, each row and column will add up to the number 65. In my teaching experiences, I have found that students are more motivated to solve magic squares over traditional worksheets because there is a final "solution" similar to a Sudoku puzzle.

This small group reader's theater is for four students. The key concept, besides reading fluently, is the 4 Properties of Multiplication and the Math Vocabulary that goes along with it. When I used it in my class, the students who performed it REALLY got into it. That might be because I myself love math.
