The 11:59: A Reader's Theater Script (Black History, Oral History, Folklore)
This is a reader's theater adaptation of the short story The 11:59 by Patricia McKissack. The story centers around Lester Simmons, a Pullman car porter (and part of the first black union, The Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters), as he passes on the legend of the 11:59 with the younger porters.
