I have taught Spanish and Playwriting for over ten years. I have taught every grade, from Kindergarten through 12th, and I have a California Teaching Credential in Spanish. I also run Student Plays, a small script business, and have had plays produced in New York, Michigan, Texas and California. Playwright Dante Wellman has recently joined my store, and he and I are working together on various scripts for Black History Month. Dante focuses on playwriting and also American history.

B.A. in Political Science and Spanish. Studied privately with playwrights Stuart Spencer and Dan Berkowitz. Member of the Dramatists Guild. Playwright and founder of Student Plays. I have teamed with playwright Dante Wellman in developing scripts and activities for Black History Month. We are excited about working together on this material. Dante is a playwright and also a retired history teacher. His main interest is in American history.

My plays are generally SHORT and very doable. Most schools focus on big, expensive musicals and such . . . but my plays are mostly geared for schools on a budget. I have plays for elementary through college. My plays have been produced in five different states, and I teach private playwriting lessons. Playwright Dante Wellman has recently joined my store, and he and I are working together on various scripts for Black History Month. On to Spanish . . . with Spanish, I believe that most students do not get enough REPS. Not enough repetition. Spanish is like a sport: you have to get in many repetitions to get better. Many of my worksheets and exercises have 18-20 questions/problems on one page, and sometimes more. Students need more than just 8-10 questions or exercises!
