Invasive Species Research and Graphing - Ecosystems - Food Webs - Interactions
This product features a in-depth look at an invasive species, the sea lamprey, and its effects on the Great Lakes ecosystem. Students research the invasive species, as well as a native species, use provided population data to create a line graph, and then analyze the graph to consider the effects of the species on the ecosystem.Links to a website and a video will assist students during their research. 2024 Summer Olympic Mini-unit (Paris, France)
Welcome to the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France! Seven activities are included, bringing together reading, math, social studies, technology production (not just consumption), and product presentation all centered around the history of the games and especially the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris! Students will compare and contrast the modern Olympic games with the Ancient Olympics, as well as dig into what the background of the various parts of the Olympics themselves. Research focus

Vacation Planning PowerPoint (No Prep, Print & Go)
This project lets students research the process of planning a vacation. They use actual websites (hotels.com, enterprise, and google flights) that we would to plan one. They budget their vacation. Also, research the weather and cuisine on their vacation. Afterward, have them create a presentation from their findings. You will get the powerpoint so you can edit it.
Probability Data Displays Project
This project was used as an extra credit project that ties in with chapter 12 of the 6th grade Go Math program. This project focuses on data displays, including dot plots, frequency tables, and histograms. This allowed students to create a statistical question, collect data, and present their findings.
