Letter to Favorite Teacher (An End of year activity)
This is a great end of the year activity. Have students (especially those who are ending their last year at that school) write a letter to their favorite teacher or staff member. Once students have typed or written their letters, they can choose to hand deliver it to that person, or the teacher can give it to them. I have gotten so many thank-you's from people with this activity. We don't hear enough about how we've helped students, and this is a great way to do it!

I Once Was a Squiggle
This is a creative project for your class to make. The students look at the squiggle and turn it into a picture. After making a detailed picture, they simply fill in the blank with the name of their picture. If you want to take it further, you can write about the picture. The students can write a story of how their squiggle became the picture it became! I've been doing this project for 15 years and have finally made it digital!
