I love love love this activity to do with my kiddos! It is a great community building activity. I start by read the book, "The Crayon Box That Talked," then I introduce the activity. Students decorate a crayon to represent them and I like to take a picture of them to put at the top of the crayon. Once they are all finished, I display their work on the door (examples provided)This is perfect for morning work and morning meeting conversations!
