TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have recently retired from teaching for 39 years in Grades K-2. Seven of those years were in Colorado and the other 32 have been in Northern Nevada. I can't imagine being anything but a teacher, but I am now ready to expand my contribution to education. I will be donating half of the proceeds of this store to create scholarships for new teachers. I am passionate about teaching and am anxious to share this passion with current teachers, their students, and teachers of the future!

My husband and I live in a small community just down the mountain from beautiful Lake Tahoe. We have two grown children and a new grandbaby that we visit as often as possible. We enjoy boating, hiking, and anything at the lake. We are new parents to a puppy-in-training. I'm trying to apply my teaching techniques to training her, but I have proven to be a better teacher than dog-trainer!
